Here’s this week’s round-up of recent sources of inspiration, ranging from tech, to photographers, to who knows what.

• This “AI-assisted inspiration” tool for artists, pioneered by wedding photographer, Sam Hurd.

• Our friends at Rally Caps recently interviewed artist Taylor Pendleton about the influence that photography and filmmaking have on one another.

• The battle of the “pro” action cams is underway; will you be using one for your content any time soon?

• This collaboration between Potato Jet and SmallRig produced the tripod of our dreams.

• Moment opened up a Residency Program for their YouTube channel, allowing up-and-coming artists the opportunity to get paid to be a YouTuber.

OFF-SCRIPT

Every now and then, it feels good to get lost down a few rabbit holes. Off-Script is our catch-all for exactly that; a random assortment of objects, products, music, books, tools, and inspiration we’re finding in our day-to-day.

• This album from our favorite Australian rock band is a grungy masterpiece. Pro tip: listen to it from start-to-finish, and thank us later.

• We love using notebooks to organize our day-to-day lives, and we think you should try it out, too.

• For fans of “Interstellar” and “The Martian,” this sci-fi thriller is an excellent read during a chilly fall evening.

• We can’t stop watching this one-take live session from Fred again.. and Anderson Paak. The musical talent and cinematography are just chef’s kiss.

• Fashion buff or not, we think you’ll get a kick out of the chaotic, hilarious, and surprisingly informative videos on clothes from this YouTube channel.

• The World Series is under way, so naturally, we’re thinking about old-school wool pennants. Here’s a made-in-USA brand that gets the job done every time.
